The FBI has arrested the pathetic low life hacker who stole all Madonna’s Rebel Heart demos from her ‘personal computer’. When the hacks originally leaked, it drove Madonna into panic mode. Everyone around her was instantly not trusted and her manager Guy was on the phone with her from 6am to 6am the following day.
An FBI spokesperson said:
This case highlights the international scope of online criminal activity and the need for close cooperation between nations as we collectively identify and bring to justice those who pose a threat in cyberspace
Madonna was a train wreck as it smashed all promotional plans and it took a lot of work to turn things around. The hacker has still done significant damage to the album ‘Rebel Heart’ but the show must go on. Madonna has just wrapped up the video for ‘Living For Love’ that will be released next month.
In a statement Madonna said:
I am profoundly grateful to the FBI, the Israeli Police investigators and anyone else who helped lead to the arrest of this hacker. I deeply appreciate my fans who have provided us with pertinent information and continue to do so regarding leaks of my music. Like any citizen, I have the right to privacy. This invasion into my life – creatively, professionally, and personally remains a deeply devastating and hurtful experience, as it must be for all artists who are victims of this type of crime
Hopefully Madonna stops other material leaking but this doesn’t seem to be the case. Constant tour demos have been leaking for years and private Madonna photos are currently being traded underground. Prices are going high as $10,000 (£6,600) depending on the photo material.
