Madonna is set to film the music video for ‘Living For Love’, the first single from forthcoming album ‘Rebel Heart’ next Monday. The video will launch Valentine’s Day in February in conjunction with a live performance at the Grammys.
The director has not been announced but it would be great if David Fincher did it. He would make a great choice as he directed ‘Vogue’ and ‘Express Yourself’ which went onto become iconic and timeless classics in the Madonna video vaults. The music video will be filmed in New York!
Based on the sound for ‘Living For Love’ my idea (a very rough concept)
Have Madonna leave her mansion in New York in the soaking rain, after an emotional fight with her ex-boyfriend.
Madonna would be traveling in search for love…but on the journey Madonna would meet greats like Michael Jackson and Princess Diana (of course lookalikes) to play off the Instagram controversy. As each icon guides Madonna closer to love, throughout the journey, Madonna would end up on a rooftop with a choir. The choir would be made up of everyone Madonna admired and loved…throughout the ‘Living For Love’ journey.
Madonna would perform an intense dance sequence after rediscovering herself…then picking up her crown, bowing down to the icons and walking off into the sunset with her family…while winking back at the camera.
Either way as time gets closer, everyone in Madonna’s camp will be working the day and night shifts in order to have the ‘Living For Love’ music video ready. Madonna has already been rehearsing since last Summer on dance moves and continues to do so leading up to the ‘Rebel Heart’ album launch in March!
