Discount shop Poundland has come under fire after a 36-year-old man stabbed to death another man with a knife inside one of the shops located in Oxfordshire, England.
This knifing comes days after a man was stabbed to death in Leytonstone tube station in London.
Not much is known at the moment relating to exactly what took place in Poundland but everyone at the local Oxfordshire area, near Poundland have been shaken to the core.
It has been reported that the 36-year-old man was seen carrying two knives and tried to gain entry into the nearby Spar shop after butchering one of the Poundland customers, but Spar staff were quick to block access to the shop – by swiftly locking up.
The executive Jim McCarthy from Poundland said:
“Our sympathy and thoughts centre on the family of the deceased and of course with other customers and colleagues who were in the [shop]at the time of this terrible incident.”
It has been a tragic day for everyone involved but lucky the police tasered the poor excuse for a human being after he tried to kill more people in Spar. No motive has yet been revealed by the local Oxfordshire police handling the case.
