There are rumours running wild online that Xbox Two is set to be released before 2018.
The new Microsoft console will include lots of major improvements over Xbox One and it has been reported that the new Microsoft console will be named Xbox Two.
Xbox Two is rumored to include full 4k support for the next generation of gaming, unfortunately won’t have a disk drive (this is a major problem)…and will instead feature full cloud support to download games and upload game data.
Since the initial backlash over Xbox One launching with games being locked to each account, to the point Microsoft ended up removing the feature. It’s still considered far and between that the cloud feature Microsoft is desperate to push onto the next console will actually happen with the launch of Xbox Two.
Phil Spencer who manages Xbox said:
“I fully expect that you’ll see another [Xbox] from us”
In the current stratosphere of gaming – we have the PS4 in the lead against Xbox One. This is driving Microsoft up the wall as they’ve spent billions on the current Xbox One console and many people still choose a PS4.
The PS4 is believed to have better gaming graphics and slightly more CPU power than the Xbox One. This is one of the main factors for consumers, even though Sony are seriously lacking in first party titles.
A virtual reality headset is being created by Microsoft at the moment and if the technology is innovate and interesting enough to gamers. It might be included in the release of Xbox Two as a marketing gimmick, to build up hype for the release of Xbox Two.
Are there any features that Xbox Two must have to be successful against Sony in the future generation of the gaming war?
