TNA wrestling was cancelled from Spike TV earlier in the year when the contract wasn’t renewed and now TNA is set to allegedly be cancelled from Destination America come September. The news comes at the worst time for TNA as some of the talent quit in droves and move somewhere else to find a stable job.
Recently The President of TNA Dixie Carter held a conference call with talent and agents due to the awfully bad moral within TNA. It’s been reported that Dixie Carter was dancing around topics such as ‘late pay cheques’ and rival wrestling promotion ROH being picked up by Destination America. The rival promotion will debut right before TNA airs on Destination America which was a dirty move by the network.
It seems that TNA could have no network clearance in the United States come September unless something can be sorted out between Destination America and TNA.
There have even been reports that Destination America is finding it difficult to have advertisers want to purchase adverts during TNA. If you can’t get companies to purchase adverts during your program…it’s going to be a tough sell if you try to move onto another network.
In just 4 months, the fate of TNA could be decided if Destination America refuses to keep TNA on the network.
