Many people have come out of the wood work to discuss the weight issues of X-Factor Judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. It is something that I’ve avoided discussing because it is personal to Cheryl and her choice to live how she wants. After reading and hearing about various opinions on the subject every week as Cheryl would judge The X-Factor. I decided to voice my opinion on the ‘Skinny Cheryl’ subject.
Let’s be real Cheryl has always been a skinny girl but the recent images circulating of Cheryl do speak volumes of an eating disorder being present. If you have to always be ready for the media 24/7 – in show business. It will eventually cloud your mindset into the size 0 aspect of Hollywood.
The previous album by Cheryl didn’t perform too well on the charts but the first single was a great success titled “Crazy Stupid Love”. Now with rumours of X-Factor being replaced by The Voice on ITV…it is becoming harder than ever to stay in the limelight.
So the eating disorder Cheryl likely has can range from wanting to secure her next contract, if The X-Factor folds. Music these days is not selling well and many people have to have a specific look to even get a job on TV these days. Although seeing how Cheryl looks is disheartening as she’s a strong successful role model for women across the United Kingdom.
Cheryl doesn’t put her star power, in front of millions of viewers, into motion every week. Instead it seems as if Cheryl has settled for the stereotypical image that has haunted women for decades across various media platforms.
It would be honourable if Cheryl would directly address this issue because it is becoming more widely discussed. Gaining weight or maintaining a healthy figure is beneficial for dozens of health reasons – especially if you get ill.
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini I would urge you to gain more weight as you look sick and unhealthy. It is a terrible for the fans who look up to you as their role model. Those same fans might get the idea that being a skinny size 0 is healthy and looking the way they do at the moment isn’t normal.
