Microsoft have been facing backlash from fans who are trying to purchase the new Xbox One Elite Controllers. The shops stocking the controllers say they’re completely sold out, once new stock is delivered by Microsoft.
The Xbox One Elite Controllers originally came with ‘Halo 5: Guardians’ now the controllers can be bought standalone for 150 dollars / 100 pounds. That is a massive price increase from what people are originally used to paying.
More so users who have the Xbox One Elite Controllers said the sensitivity has improved and this allows for gamers to have more precision on intense games such as ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’.
Phil Spencer who manages Xbox said on Twitter:
“We keep shipping more in but they sell out instantly.”
It would appear that Microsoft didn’t anticipate that the Xbox One Elite Controllers would sell out everywhere. Therefore didn’t request the factory to manufacture as much units.
Get to work and have the factory distribute thousands of new units as the Christmas period is almost upon us and that will further increase revenue. That is if everyone goes and buys an Xbox One Elite Controllers for 150 dollars a pop.
