World famous YouTuber Pewdiepie real name Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg is leaving the #YouTubeIsOverParty and joining the cult known as ISIS?
Pewdiepie has over 48 million subscribers on the YouTube platform. On top of this Pewdiepie is the number one subscribed person on YouTube. So why would Pewdiepie want to be linked to ISIS?
People believe Pewdiepie was unverified on Twitter because he decided to join ISIS. Now in reality this is not the case. A fake Sky News account on Twitter decided to tweet that Pewdiepie was unverified due to links with ISIS.
Believe it or not; the fake Sky News Twitter account is also unverified.
When major media news outlets saw the tweet, most of the major news outlets decided to run with the story, rather than fact checking the information. If someone had went and fact checked the information, then they would find that the link posted on the tweet would have link to an article not related to ISIS.
On the major news and morning shows in America, it was reported that Pewdiepie was joining ISIS and this was why his Twitter account was unverified.
There is no official information from Twitter on why Pewdiepie was unverified in the first place. There is still an untold story, although the YouTuber is still generating at least 10 million per year from all his YouTube accounts. So being unverified does not mean that much.
In reality, Pewdiepie became more famous, due to the news stories. Now his video has nearly 4 million views regarding the ISIS story. So we all know who had the last laugh in the end.
